The fall is one of the nicest times of year with great weather, warm water, and less crowds, but there is no bad time for a trip to the Outer Banks. Gorgeous beaches, great dining and shopping, fun attractions, and an abundance of wildlife and outdoor activities. There are great deals on vacation rentals throughout the year.
