Carolina rigging has become a well respected method for catching large numbers of fish. A good set-up can include things like the Zoom Trick Worm sitting behind a Tru-Tungsten Sinker whose weight is determined by a number of factors including currents, depth and even the amount of cover. Tie that up with a bit of 17 pound test with a 12 to 14 pound test leader and you are good to go.

The Carolina rig has also been well recorded at catching a Florida bass right after a cold-front.

Every person is different and so are their techniques, so whether you will actually use a Carolina rigging or not is entirely up to you, but you have nothing to loose in experimenting with it. You still end up with a great weekend of fishing at the lake with you pals or kids.

North Carolina is an evolving state with booming cities, yet retains its rustic charm. In this article, we highlight motorhome lodgings in North Carolina you can use as a base camp for your trip.

North Carolina is a southern state with a variety of different atmospheres. The coastal region, with its beautiful beaches and warm sun, is a popular vacation spot for families and those who enjoy the ocean. Further inland, there are mountains to please any naturalist – from the Great Smoky Mountain range to the Blue Ridge mountains; there is a spot for any hiker to enjoy. For those who are more into a collegiate atmosphere, the “Triangle” region of Durham and Chapel Hill is home to many universities. Finally, historians always enjoy a trip to Kitty Hawk – home of the Wright Brothers’ first flight. One thing is true in all of these spots – the motorhome lodgings in North Carolina are a great place to stay to experience these settings.

Located in the beautiful beach region of the Outer Banks, Kitty Hawk, North Carolina draws visitors from all over the United States. This area is a great place to experience the beach atmosphere along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as a good place for historians to see what the Wright Brothers saw. Once a tiny village, Kitty Hawk has become one of the biggest villages on the Outer Banks – due to the historical meaning of the spot as well as the ideal beach surroundings. You can walk through the village and enjoy the fishing atmosphere, as well as the quaint beach houses and shops. Four miles away, you can see the actual site of the 1903 flight, in what is now known as Kill Devil Hills.

About an hour away from Kitty Hawk, NC is the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. While finding an motorhome park in the Kitty Hawk region is quite difficult, there are many motorhome lodgings in North Carolina that are nearby, especially in the Hatteras region. You can easily spend a lot of time on site at this motorhome lodging and thoroughly amuse your family!

There are many different motorhome lodgings in North Carolina – with the amenities and seasonal availability varying depending on the part of the state the park is located in. Those along the shore are extremely family friendly, and are a great place for your next family vacation.
