If you have a great desire to leave the frontier of the city for a relaxing and rejuvenating mountain getaway, there is no better travel destination

The allure of this city is becoming widespread and now it has been tagged as the Paris of the South. The area is filled with plenty of fascinating attractions from national parks to historical sites and nature tripping activities. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a beautiful passage that travels through the mountains that is a convenient way from the north of Hendersonville. Tagged as “America’s Favorite Drive”, this parkway is 469 miles of roadway that will lead you to several scenic mountains in the United States. Along this National Parkway, you can just resist to make a stop over to visit the Folk Art Guild, located along the roadway, where you can buy crafts and other items made by the native people in the city. Along the way to North Carolina, you can reach the Nantahala Outdoor Center that provides different river rafting adventures. You can have a stop and try river rafting activities in the Nantahala River, an enjoyable way for adventurous RV travelers to relax, unwind and rejuvenate from the unstoppable trips. The rivers range is quite difficult, but Nantahala offers great guides especially for the beginners for them to enjoy the nature. While enjoying RVing, you can also unwind yourself and take a little look at the rich history and culture of North Carolina. You can visit Old Salem Town, an old museum located within the reestablished community of Winston-Salem in North Carolina. You can take note on different highlights of this old town that include Salem Tavern, St. Philips Moravian Church, Home Moravian Church and Salem Square. You can also try to take a snap within the panoramic view of the famous Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Within this trail, you can hike the breath taking 4600 foot Max Patch Mountain. On this hike, you walk to Max Patch and then get through the Appalachian Trail, North to Lemon Gap to feel the grassy summit with glorious and scenic views. A great picnic site, this place is just a short walk from the parking lot. Because of its romantic scenery, no doubt that Appalachian Max Patch is a great and unique place to propose. To travel the entire city’s perpetual coast of attraction, make your way to the Carolina Beach State Park. Located at the southern part of North Carolina, it is a great choice among camping destinations. Its main location near the water that provides not only for several beach and water activities, this place has a lot more to offer than the usual oceanfront park. Few miles of hiking trails will lead you to a bird and wildlife habitat with distinct types of animals. Extending into the Atlantic Ocean, another highlight of North Carolina is the Outer Banks. Find Yourself in the North Carolina Mountains – NC Vacation, Retirement & Investment Tips

There’s a reason the wealthy Biltmore family chose the Asheville area to build their famous country home. This North Carolina mountain location is a little bit of heaven right here on earth. It’s beautiful, but it’s also one of the top-rated residential areas in the country. The Biltmore’s recognized that years ago and took advantage of the location to build their dream mansion. You can do the same thing today, and put down roots in one of the most desirable areas of the country.

The area is beautiful, but there’s a lot more to do than just sightsee. The arts flourish in Ashville and the surrounding Cashiers-Highlands area. You can enjoy museums, galleries, the theater, music, and a thriving arts and crafts colony in the area. The outdoor recreation opportunities are boundless. From premier golf courses to hiking, biking, botanical gardens, boating, fishing, and even skiing and snow sports in the winter, this area offers something for everyone. The kids will find plenty of activities to keep them occupied, too. From state parks to minor league baseball, water parks, and children’s museums, the area will become a family favorite in no time!

Located south and west of Asheville, the Cashiers-Highland area offers a more rural atmosphere smack dab in the middle of North Carolina’s waterfall region. Stunning views and recreational opportunities abound in the area, and it offers some of the nation’s best trout fishing, too. If you’re a hiker or biker, you’ll never run out of trails to explore here. These small towns offer a homey, relaxed atmosphere, but you don’t have to sacrifice quality here. Some of the best restaurants and wine bars in the area are located in the Cashiers-Highlands area. In fact, you can choose from several who’ve garnered the coveted “Wine Spectator Award” for their distinctive food and wines. Even better, the vibrant arts scene of Asheville is only 60 miles away, so you can take in a show or a gallery any time you choose.

Why invest in real estate in these areas? Maybe you should ask yourself why not! Everyone knows investing in real estate is an investment for today and the future. Choosing the North Carolina Mountains for your retirement or vacation home is much more than an investment opportunity, however. When you choose this area, you’re choosing one of the most desirable residential areas in the country. It’s been rated one of the top ten areas for a second home investment, among a host of other honors and accolades. If you’re interested in a golfing or retirement community, this is the place for you! Dozens of communities cater to these interests, and you’re sure to find the perfect home or home-site in the community you’ve always dreamed of.

Did you know the second home marketplace is actually even healthier than the primary home marketplace? It’s true and especially true in this desirable area. If you choose your home now, your vacation dream home can turn into your retirement paradise in a few years. This area has been rated one of the top five areas to retire, one of the ten best places to live, and one of the top 25 best arts destinations in the country by various magazines and experts. This is paradise, there’s no two ways about it! With so many people recognizing just how great the area is, the investment in a home today guarantees a secure investment future.

So, what are you waiting for? Check out the spectacular mountains of North Carolina. From the Blue Ridge Parkway to the arts scene and the climate, the mountains of North Carolina offer stability, adventure, recreation, and a thriving, vibrant community. Invest in a vacation home in this area, and you’ll always feel like you’re coming home to a special, even magical place.
